Our story

Quokka started with a simple idea: growing businesses deserve the same smart marketing as the big players, without the jargon, the bloated reports or the feeling of being kept in the dark.

We’ve spent more than 10 years in digital marketing: building websites, running ads and getting businesses found on Google, Maps and now AI answers. Today we’re a Gold Coast team working with businesses right across Australia.

And the name? The quokka is one of Australia’s friendliest animals: approachable, curious and always smiling. That’s how we want working with us to feel.

2015

Where it started

What started as an interest in marketing quickly became years of learning, testing and working across different parts of the industry figuring out what actually helps businesses connect with people.

A few years later

More than just marketing

Strategy, websites, SEO, paid media and digital gradually became part of the same picture and more recently, GEO and AI search joined it. The more we worked across them, the clearer it became that good marketing works best when everything connects.
